Yeah, that used to be on youtube and they put it back up again along with another fight I can't remember the guys name. Thats a good fight against Mckart. I had never come across this latest one before guys name was Mathis or something like that. Pavlik was buzzed a little bit by a punch he did not see comming. Then he came back the next round and put a brutal beating on him.
People are sick of being let down by this guy. They're probably holding out until he actually goes through with it and beats someone without melting down before, during or after.
I knew that title was going to get a lot of people posting without reading a damned thing in the thread.
as far as your post goes. Jaco has fought as high as 195! So They are not concerned about his health! There is no buzz because obviously fight fans dont look into the "fine Print" of it being sanctioned in Texas or the man's health! For sure he is going back to MiddleweighT! That Is where Robert wants him, and Kelly wants to be there as long as he can do it healthy! He would shoot right back to the top and Everyone wheather they dont want to admit it or not knows Kelly should have not been in the ring with sergio on that night! With a full training camp and 100% focus, That fight would have been different!
True fans of the sport don't want to see mismatches that put someones health in jeopardy. We could end up with only amateur bouts, or so called pro bouts under amateur rules, if this **** isn't watched carefully. I don't care how much he weighed in the past, he has not fought anyone of Kelly's caliber and isn't likely to be able to adequately defend himself.
I dunno yall people said the same thing about Alfoso Lopez and Pavlik almost ****ed up and dropped that one then people thought Lopez was good til his next 2 fights proved he sucks losing to a guy with a 3-5-1 record lol. Kinda sad that this oppoenent is even shittier than Lopez though so if Pavlik struggles remotely we can write him off fosho
I think the recent events in Texas indicated they don't give a **** what true fans of the sport think. No?
they dont care what-so-ever. Maybe thats why This fight is not on shown on TV! Its gonna be a Blood bath. and a blood bath Kelly needs to get his confidence back!
Well that's great because I'd love to see a rematch with Martinez or a Pavlik-Chavez Jr. blockbuster. Before any of that can happen though, he's got to take care of business against this zombie, then put a couple of decent wins together. Maybe Rodriguez, then Stieglitz, then a superfight with Chavez Jr.
