It's obvious if you look at each fighters style and habits Pac would give him a tough time. Floyd is too straightforward against lefties and he doesnt let his hands go. Lately he's been acting macho by walking forward instead of fighting on the backfoot. He fights in a linear fashion and that type of movement is tailor made for Pacquiao.

 

Not really. Technically, he is very easy to predict. His footwork is fast and thats about it. He throws the same damn 1-2-3. Mayweather is smarter than Marquez and Marquez figured Manny out after one round. If this fight ever happens Floyd will knock manny out in 10 or less.

And to the idiots who talk about power...as boxing fans you should know that speed, timing, and coordination = a floored punch. When your opponent has a lack of defense, it's easy to use these 3 items to get him out.

Floyd fans should be happy that their hero doesn't want to fight Manny! It would be a very sad day for Floyd fans... Pacquiao would tax that ass!

 

If they fought right now I tend to agree. Even though I've gone back and forth on it, but any time I watch Floyd against a southpaw I don't like him in that fight. His linear movement and cagey defensive style play right into Pacquiao's hands. But he's got a size / reach advantage and that could be the equalizer. Problem is Floyd doesnt seem to use his reach anyway since he loves going to the inside.

Yes I know that Floyd talks about Pac pretty often. It goes both ways. I don't think the *******s know that.

 

I could see Manny being busy and winning a decision. I know Floyd likes to talk alot of **** about Manny, he says he would dismantle him, school him etc... It's a different story when your in the ring and Manny is throwing punches in bunches from weird angles.. Floyd will get real defensive and lose by fighting scared.

 

Absolutely, or possibly a late stoppage. I get the feeling Floyd would come right at Pacquiao like he's been doing in his last several fights. His ego would get him trouble in that fight.

pacs non stop style, floyd wants none of it. he saw what pac did to cotto and hes been running ever since. he even said no more strong opponents, im getting old. he'll do whatever it takes to maintain that 0.

Have some of you looked at Manny's style do you really see what Marquez did in his fights that gave Manny so much trouble. Here's what I see when I watch Manny.
1. good foot work in and out.
2. major strat, jump in get opponent going backward, then jump them runing forward.
3. The problem with Marquez great defense and he stands his ground.
4. Same style that Freddie taught Khan, run forward with combos when you opponent can't deliver a good power punch back.
5. Khan problem with Peterson, Peterson press the fight coming forward, hence the change in Mayweathers style. Mayweather moving forward more and no dancing around the ring.
6. Manny has good power and speed, but has trouble when someone pushes the fight and hold the groung. the great counters helped too.

 

problem is, will floyd step up and fight pac?
