Floyd does'nt know how to figure out a southpaw, specially an asian midget punching machine southpaw.

i think it was more to do with the fact that he fought him twice before, he may a different fighter but the base style of what makes him pacquiao is there.

I think itll be very frustrating for both guys, i have no idea if manny has fought anyone who shells up that way and shoots quickly when they find a quick opening. Its a odd style to deal with.

It blows my mind that people think Pacquiao would stand a chance against Mayweather.

Pacquiao struggles against movers and counterpunchers. Floyd is among the best in the sport in both of those areas.

Pacquiao is susceptible to the right hand. Floyd has one of the best right hands in the business.

And that's just to name a few. 98% of the signs point toward a Mayweather win.

They say the way to kill speed is to go straight at it. If Floyd keeps his straight right in Pacs face then he will have a problem. I liked the jab that cotto used in the first two rounds against PAC but his hands speed was way too slow to counter. I really dont feel Floyd will have that problem because if he turns PAC like Mosley and Marquez did. I think it will confuse PAC and frustrate him if he can't get off. I feel as though PAC should work hard on the body. I think he can hurt Floyd if he really uses speed to body with combinations.

Manny style will give floyd fits.

If floyd thought it would have been easy work, he'd have agreed to the 55/45 split, and took the easy win, the biggest careet defining win of his career, and also increased his marketability earning him a shed loads more money in future endoresements and increases his income further in future fights.

Trust me, floyd does not think it would be easy work.

Exactly. I refused to continue on within a debate about a Boxing Match that neither fighter wants. It's completely senseless.

Then why didn't he take the fight. He'd earn alot more money than he would fighting cotto. And he'd also enhance his legacy. They agreed to fight him on the date and venue he wanted. Even 50/50 split. or 55/45, he'd earn alot more money thn fighting cotto.

Manny would give floyd problems also. He throws from Angles, he throws fast porwefull combinations to body and head. You cant stand your ground against him or walk him down. His straigt left and right hook are the best shots to land aginst floyd, and manny throws them perfetly. There also the best shots to use against a shoulder defense.

This is a tough fight for both

So Arum says Floyd never wanted to face a quick Southpaw yet Floyd faced Zab who was quicker than him. :patsch Gander I have told you this before. Floyd is all wrong for Manny. Manny's weaknesses would really show against Floyd. Not being able to cut off the ring and control the range would be the death of Manny . Anyways no point in repeating myself for 4 pages.

    Manny is NOT beating Floyd

    I don't think people realise

A.) The gulf in skills between the two, Manny is a phenominal athlete and a good boxer, but Floyd is simply a much better boxer, whether you like him or not.

Rarely ever when deciding the outcome of a fight will I ever pick the better athlete/harder puncher to beat the MORE SKILLED BOXER. It's just a bad bet.

B.) People seem to forget that closest Floyd has come to losing is against Castillo, 10 years ago.. We aren't talking about a man who goes life and death or even remotely close to drawing in his fights. We are talking about a man who dominates his opponents, and the most his detractors can do is pick out singular punches or incidents when he is landed on to try and criticize him

    C.)
At the VERY VERY WORST, a 38 year old JMM went life and death with Pacquiao, I, and many other members of the boxing community (including boxers themselves, one of which being Mannys own stablemate Amir Khan) thought JMM won the latest, and many think he won all 3. But to stick to the point, Pacquiao very recently got away with a win by the skin of his teeth against a man he has fought two times before, he has shown he can't adapt over a trilogy of fights. Floyd has never so much lost more than 5 rounds in a fight, never, ever in his entire career. What reason is it that people have to be so sure that be will lose?

Even against these southpaws he famously looks so terrible against

He probably lost a combined total of 8 rounds if that

    Floyd has the reach advantage
    He has the size advantage
    He has the ring IQ
    He has the better timing
    He has better balance
    He has better footwork
    better jab

    Manny has better power
    punches from more angles
    unothadox

handspeed difference is negligible either way

How is it that you think this is a fight Manny wins? I know not all fights are how they look on paper but it just doesnt make SENSE from what we have seen of the two fighters

For all the training and improvement, Manny reverts to his basic jab jab STRAIGHT

Floyd will adjust to it time him and walk him down I am 100% sure of this

Manny is a ****ing warrior and I like the guy but it simply wouldn't happen for him

it would get to a point in the 9th or so round where Floyd would be landing flush and often, and you'd see that same frustrated look in mannys face and Roach would tell him he needed to go for the knock out that would never come

    That's oversimplistic.
I can do the same for Pac:

While most neutral people will indeed pick Mayweather over Pac, fact is, Pac will be Mayweather's toughest challenge since DLH, and everybody wants to see Mayweather finally fight a real live opponent since Mosley.
