Floyd is a cocky sob but he his dedication to training is fanatical. Great watch. Sparring was beautiful as it was irritating. Great jab
just watched the last part again Floyd knew he was outclassing Henry and pushed him towards the ropes to get pulled out
When cotto goes to the ropes as he does often, floyd will own him. I think that will be one of the main strategies hence jabbing and forward pressure. Cotto already has a blueprint you will see on 24/7 I beat on that
This content is protected All of Floyd's sparring partnas. Now intentional can stop calling him grey shirt.:yep This content is protected this guy is intense he's wearing a backpack at the same time
I guess Mayweather does plan on walking Cotto down. Honestly, I think that's giving Cotto the best chance to win, but if Mayweather manages to beat Cotto by utilizing this style, he'll get more props from me. Also, this is going to make a for a more exciting fight because Mayweather will have to take/avoid/block more punches than usual.
Thanks bball for sharing! Those left hook counters that Mayweather throws are sneaky... On another note, are those resistance bands the sparring partner is using?
I honestly feel like I'm taking crazy pills when you ****ers are typing away about how amazing Floyd looks...call me biased but I just dont see it. This is the reason why I suspect he decided to leak the footage. He looked like **** and its on purpose. I'm not saying he fought shitty or got beat the **** up, but this is Floyd Mayweather we're talking about here and he didn't look like a boxing God in there. He looked beatable in there. I suspect he literally just decided to let Henry do his best to tee off on him as much as possible with little to no counter punches to simulate the pressure involved. And if that was the goal, he didnt do half bad. With the amount of time left I suspect another drill like this will be embarassing for Henry. Did anyone else notice the number of times Henry switched south paw?! atsch:-( why in the ****...Omar is a pretty good clone of Cotto but lacks a lot of things that isnt being brought to the table thats essential. Just because he does that little backward walk and moves with his hands down like Cotto doesnt make him Miguel in the least. He doesnt throw or employ the same combos and he doesnt have the same jab. Id worry about that first and foremost. He does have a better right hand though than Cotto and used it a lot more which isnt much use to Floyd other than the "just in case" scenario. Just some thoughts from the other side of the fence. :shrug
