In your view, was George Foreman largely right in this interview about Wlad?

Mastered the sweet science???? You really are a complete tool. He only does 2 things - Jab, and throw a right hand. That's it. He doesn't move his head. He can't fight going backwards. He seems to never throw hooks. He has virtually no uppercut. He can't fight on the inside. How the **** is that "mastering the sweet science"?! There are about a million things he can't do. Hiding behind a jab for 12 rounds, and barely throwing a punch, does not make him a defensive wizard - watch Whitaker or Mayweather, if you want to see what REAL defensive boxing looks like. I agree. Lewis, Ali and Tyson would have a decent chance to defeat him.

Louis cleaned out the division (by himself i might add) and then fought anything with a pulse (when you fight 4 or more times a year these things happen)

A fella beats Wlad = Wlad has been beaten by a bum.

A fella beats Ali = Well, if the fella can beat Ali he must be great himself.

I aint saying that Wlad is better or equal to Ali, or that this era compares to the 70's. All I am saying is that the greats of the past are not seen with obejctive eyes.

I think a little thing called the cruiserweight division may have impacted on that too.

Considering the vast increases in the size and performance of the athletes in all professional sports. NFL, rugby, baseball, athletics, doesn't matter.

They are clearly better than those guys from 40 years ago. Both to the naked eye and when measured.

If you travelled through time those guys would get destroyed today.

Yet in heavyweight boxing this is arguably not the case. Fighters on comparitive levels clearly are less skilled. There are a higher percentage of fighters that are just fat.

And we have 2 guys that are pretty good but won't fight each other (understandably), which causes problems, and then a whole host of guys that are either pretty bad, or interested in nothing more than making money as contender level fighters without having a crack at the belt. (yes, you Mr Povetkin).
