say what you want about Mayweather but Ive followed boxing a longtime and there is very view questions Mayweather has to answer in the squared circle

he has proven his adaptibility, ad******g to styles midfight(Judah, Hatton, Mosley) clearly beat his closest rival(Castillo in the rematch) and has combined the natural tools and hunger better than any fighter I have seen....he never takes an opponent for granted like some greats ala Whitaker did Hurtado, or Lewis Vitali...one thing about lil Floyd you are gonna get him in top form until he is shot

I was always big on Roy jones who made me the boxing fan i am today, but bar none...Mayweather may be the most complete fighter since a prime SRR....from 130-140 in his prime you'd be hard pressed to find anyone favored to beat him.

IMO from 130-140 Whitaker, Camacho(fast slick southpaws), Armstrong(definition of pressure) beat him or give him a hard time stylistically but he adapts so fast you never know....Ike Williams would surprising get trounced considering Floyd usually dominates taller opponents, Chavez is too predictable, and if Duran though SRL at 147 was hell to catch imagine floyd at 135 with his prime speed movement and reflexes.

Yep he's a great fighter, yep he can adapt, yep he's a technical god etc etc etc etc.

But fact is he's boring as hell to watch.

Didn't read. But I agree. He's a great fighter. Most impresive talent (after Roy Jones) I've experienced watching.

Mayweather is a gifted athlete. He is probably the type of guy who can play any sport respectably well. That said, he works his ass off to get the most out of what God gave him. I know 100% he will show up in tip top shape for every one of his bouts.

:huh Plenty other fighters who are alot more boring, Ward, Hopkins. I find Money exciting, He does inside work and outside work so well.

is it his fault, just as Jones went thru before him, that he beats his opponents without a shadow of a doubt or real troubles....to me he isnt boring....Ive learned more watching his fights than I have with my trainer in my ear yelling at me when i used to box....I appreciate the craft and skill it takes to hit and not get hit....some fighters fight great, make great fights(Gatti or Marciano) others are great fighters( Robinson, Mayweather)

Like a smart trainer told me...why eat three shots to land one, when you can make your opponnent miss and land three of your own?

I used to think it was Jones but IMO...Jones is a tad more gifted athletically than PBF but Mayweather has better technique to eachs own

RJJ was more athletic, yes! Did he have a better technique? Nope, better work ethic? Hard for me to say as Roy was insane with it but I would say no....

    Love both guys though......

If you want to see him at his absolute peak/best...mentally, physically, and technically... watch him from 130-140.

After that, it was his I.Q. more than anything that got him by as his physical ability slowly declined.

Floyd's more complete than Jones as a fighter, however; As far as combinations and athletic ability....NOBODY has ever thrown the type of combinations and displayed that type of athleticism that Roy Jones Jr. had *at his best.

last time i checked you dont win multiple titles at 5 weights ducking...come again...also consider this, Mayweather has always beaten a title holder for their belt....no catchweights, no vacant titles, etc
