    A prominate New Mexico promoter and matchmaker told me this today. It is interesting if true.

    "90% of fighters in the red corner win. Which is the promoters corner around the world. If judges go against the promoters fighter they may not be called back again to judge".

    He says you can see it on BOXREC. In 90% of the bouts that have been recorded there. The red corner has won.

    Wouldn't be suprised if a huge percentage of the residual 10% turn out to be KO wins too. :think

    Is it because maybe champions/favorite or challengers take the red corner depending on the order they come out, and defend or take the title more often than the opposite?

    In a Kickboxing tournament only 1 guy in the red corner won a fight. After a while it was annoying, knowing who would win.

    Aye. A show on Saturday just gone. No boxer in the blue won, I believe...out of 12 or so bouts.
