You'd have to assume Brook. By decision. But he's hasn't fought anyone at Zaveck's level so its hard to say.

I thought zaveck proved in Berto fight he belongs at the top level.

I just think his style will be quite straight forward for brook to pick apart.

Maidana - Brook would be a great fight

much better than Brook-Clottey but I doubt Heran would be able to put up a decent offer to Maidana

I'd be very surprised indeed if Maidana is the call. He will go down to 140, plus it would be a huge risk of a fight to take right in front of Brook's home fans on the crest of a wave.

As for the Americans, your kidding right? People like Alexander etc are not going to travel anywhere if they are making a decent living in the US. If it was Khan in Manchester, maybe, because he is a big name fighter with pulling power in the States, but they won't travel to Brook's hometown to face him.

My money would be on a European. Jackiewicz is already beaten and Senchenko is tied up, so Zaveck is probably the best option available.

No way it`s gonna be Zaveck, he had to go on elbow surgery after Uushona fight, he is out for at least 2 months

I think Brook would convincingly beat Maidana but those thinking he'd beat Clottey easily get real, Clottey is too big, too strong and too good for Brook as long as he shows up. Remember he had to sign a rehydration clause vs. Pac. And for those saying he's boring look at the Cotto fight. Been around 2 minutes most of these fans.

this is a great business fight to make. Hearn can tell the british public that this guy is the dude who busted khan up so when kell does a number on him it makes him look like a monster. Maidana is a beast at 140 but i think at 147 kell will be way too big, too strong and will easily outbox him. Im not sure if he will do it as convincingly as Alexander because stylistically I see Alexander and a little tighter and less easy to hit

Maidana @147 won't prove much after his showing against Alexander. Hearn needs to get real and make a fight that puts Brook on the map properly. Ortiz-Berto winner would do nicely, or Mike Jones if he's got the minerals

Much ado about nothing. It will be another Euro bum.

  15. Whey someone with a brain, rubbish fight for me, Maidana was porky and clearly didnt have the same power as a full welter, he should return to 140 where if he trains hard he can be a top dog and do serious damage.
