If a young Mike Tyson turned up today on the HW scene, how would things pan out?

He wouldn't do much against the champ. He'd get frustrated and quit by the 6th round. Has Tyson ever gutted out a tough win when an opponent met him with resistance? I see a Tyson/Holyfield happening, but worse. Wlad would just 1 - 2 him all night.

With the size and weight difference, Mike wouldn't be running though them as easily as he did in the 80s, it would have to be a more strategic Pinklon Thomas / Larry Holmes kind of stalking but he would still get past the contenders to get to the Ks.

Wlad - a swarming young prime Mike? Duck and weave under the best jabs? Leap up left hook? A few cracks to an already frightened Wlad's jaw and it'd be lights out.

Vitali - he would have more problem with. Fanboy in me says he still eventually wears Vitali down but this would be the better fight to watch.

I dont think there too many crack heads around today for a new Tyson to feed on..

 

KOs this old Vitali(prime is a hard fight for both), has very good chance to KO Wlad if and only if fight was not in Germany or at least with good referee that would not let Wlad hold all the time because thats exactly what Wlad would do against someone like Tyson hold hold and hold some more.

That was shot Tyson, and i agree he did have mental issues and i dont think he could get decision over Wlad, but sure as hell could KO Wlad if referee would not allow Wlad to hold constantly, and we have seen that Wlads jab didnt land to much on haye and Tyson had better head movement and knew how to get inside since his game was based on this!!!
I think in history Tyson in hardest style match up for Wlad.

 

it's okay to say tyson would lose to klitschko but what you wrote is just ridiculous. size without skill means nothing! or do you think wlad would lose against valuev based on the differencen of their physical appearance?

 

If a young Tyson who had all of his original corner with him showed up then he could very well be the undisputed champ. If it was just a young Tyson with the trainers he had later in life he would do well, but I wouldn't give him as good of a shot to beat either of the Klitschko bros.

 

If he turned up James Toney would beat him apparently
