Pac is tailor made for anyone with two hands who has educated footwork and a high ring IQ. It was hilarious to watch and elite fighter like Pac follow a 40 year old Shane around looking lost and not cutting off the ring.

I think Bradley will give Pac all he can handle in June. He won't win unless it's by KO, as Im sure the judges have already been purchased.

But I think this fight will look worse for Pac than the Marquez fight, due to Bradley's youth.

 

I agree. Bradley will a tough fight fort Pac. He has good hand speed has great stamina can fight on the inside has good footwork and is hungry.

 

Floyd isn't walking anyone down. Floyd is all about not getting hit. I can't remember an exciting fight that Floyd has been in of recent times. He will make PAC open and he will counter, all night long.

The reason he doesn't fight pac are risk / reward / doubts in his mind. He would prefer Cotto, who is completely gone and no risk, to PAC who is probably almost gone but could potentially bring one last great fight to take Floyd's zero. He probably believes in his mind that Pac is on peds which is why an Asian midget can do the things he has done. It doesn't work any other way in his mind as he is clearly a racist who thinks all but blacks are capable of being great.

It was a great fight three years ago, now if it happens it will probably be the anti climax of the century. PAC is nothing near what he was and Floyd fights every two years.

I've always thought that Floyd would beat Pac. That being said...

Pac also throws better combinations, has a higher workrate, better punch resistance, has stamina to rival Floyd, and he's also a southpaw, which is a bonus against most orthodox guys, Floyd included.

Walking Pac down is the wrong strategy, even for someone as good as Floyd. If he boxes on the back foot and keeps turning Pac around the ring, he'll have a much easier time. The thing is, can he still do that? The Floyd from the Corrales fight would have made Pac look completely foolish chasing him and eating counters, but he hasn't shown that kind of footwork and constant movement in a long time. The last time he really used the hit and move strategy consistently was back in 2007, to neutralise Hatton's aggression. These days his style is to move less, and stand his ground on the outside or move forward with that high guard.

I think his old style is actually better suited to dealing with Pac...when you come forward, it gives Pac more of a chance to unload his combinations. Pac hates chasing people down, because he's bad at cutting off the ring and he tends to over commit and leave himself open coming forward, which is perfect for a moving counter puncher to exploit.

I still think Mayweather wins -- he's just the better, more complete boxer. It's not a given, though.

Floyd never wanted to fight a quick southpaw? Then why did he fight Zab, who in my opinion had (some may even argue still does) have faster hands than Pac?

Mayweather figures Pac out and has him bouncing off his right hand time & time again, been saying it for some time now. The fact this fight hasn't happened is a joke, but that's another story.

 

Judah was a quick southpaw yet that fight was booked/dated even before Judah lost to Baldomir. That's back when Judah was highly regarded and people claimed is a 50/50 fight against Mayweather(who was moving up to make it happen).

Anyone who believes that the size advantage for Mayweather will not allow him to walk forward with intelligent pressure and pick Pacquiao's wild ass apart doesn't live in the real world.

Mayweather doesn't need to jump around like a ****ing gazelle to fight Manny Pacquiao. Marquez didn't, so neither will Mayweather.

Proper, concise footwork, coupled with hitting Pacquiao harder than Marquez was able too (to keep Manny honest), will be the story of the fight. Marquez made Manny back off from being too aggressive, hence his output plummeted. Just like what happens to all of Floyd's opponents. atsch

A good fighter with zero chance. It's his first fight at Welterweight against the P4P#1 fighter. Bradley is in for an ass kicking though will try to make it competitive for as long as he could.
