MAB didnt think so The fact is its shameful how Hamed fans tend to say he lost because he was shot and **** like that, the truth is MAB was by far the best fighter he ever faced and what happened Barrera schooled him and retired him!!!(yeah i know he had one more fight aganst some guy but MAB retired him)
the guy went from overrated to incredibly underrated overnight. Probably the hardest puncher the featherweight division has ever seen. Haven't seen anyone else at 126 with that kind of one punch power.
His hands did force him to retire, but he would have acheived so much more if he would have been less lazy training. By the Barrera fight he was getting lazy, a new training camp with someone to push him and not let him coast at his own pace would have done him wonders. In terms of natural talent, he is one of the best boxers I have seen. Defo my favourite boxer ever.
He sure was a beast. The power he had for such a small man was amazing. He litterally threw his whole body into a punch. What great entertainment he was.

Beast... could have potentially beaten Barrera in a rematch if he ironed out his flaws.No shame in losing to Barrera but it was a shame boxing never saw the prince after that one fight.
Nah i dont think so, watch his fights, Hamed had the one punch KO power, not flurry finishes, his were proper KO's. And when he fought Barrera he was past prime, and the fame had got to him, he stopped training properly, he just thought he could get away with just banging with power, you can tell his reflexes had gone as well. He had a great chin, even when he got dropped it wasnt because his legs went or he was hurt or on ***** street, it was usually because he was moving off in an awkward angle and he'd get caught and that would push him off balance and score a knockdown for the other guy.

I wont argue Barrera was the best he faced, but he did not retire straight away after that fight. He had one more fight after that which he won. Here is the man himself saying it was his hands.
