It's not a shift from 'window lickers overreacting' to 'it's not unreasonable'?

What are you not getting here?

The claims of "CLEAR CORRUPTION" are window-lickers overreacting. Saying you think it's worth investigating is reasonable.

    This is not difficult.

So why are you making it difficult?

Oh OK, you just missed the point of my post that you originally quoted then in which I stated the guy you were arguing with was not calling it a fact and therefore didn't need to provide evidence.

If you are claiming there is CLEAR CORRUPTION, then generally I'd say you need evidence. When your "balance of probability" is the fact an incompetent man continued being incompetent (but did correctly start counting until the referee said no knockdown), that's pretty weak.

There's nothing "clear" about what happened. People **** up all the time. It's not like Frank went and rang the bell himself. Now THAT'S clear corruption.

OK but he wasn't and that was my point. I'll leave it there.

Elvis' original post. That's a pretty definitive statement.

"Anyone who doesn't believe there was shenanigans* is burying their head in the sand."

*Secret or dishonest activity or manoeuvring

That's what I was replying to. It's making a statement that to believe otherwise is to be ignorant, when actually to believe there was corruption requires a much larger leap of faith.

Again, this is NOT difficult to follow. You might not agree with me, that's cool, but don't try and make out I missed the point.

The idea that the timekeeper for the fight was paid off in advance to ring the bell at the first sight of trouble for Mac is patent nonsense....Why wasn't it rung on the other occasions he ended up on his arse....What was the criteria for ringing it? Bambi legs?, slightly dazed? What would have happened if Enz had gone down within the first minute?, would it have been rung then? If McP had been knocked down and hurt would the timekeeper have speeded up the count? Its a ridiculous idea....The worrying thing is that people on here are making claims of corruption against a public figure without the first skerrett of evidence. This isn't having a chat with your mates, this is a public forum and after what happened earlier in the week with that Muamba business I'm being more careful what I say. Remember, when Frank or the timekeeper have you in court you have to prove that corruption took place, he doesn't have to prove that it didn't.

I'd love to see Fish Eyes try and prove we're even explicitly talking about him, we can't even name check the twat.

Ice, we're agreeing a bit too often.

I hereby change my opinion to:

    OUTRIGHT CORRUPTION.
