Champion: Yoan Pablo Hernandez This content is protected Dangerous Cuban Southpaw Yoan Pablo Hernandez has impressed all of boxing a lot lately. He won two close but very clear decision to one of America's best skilled boxers today Steve " USS " Cunningham. In both of these bouts we saw Cunningham on the floor ( Hard! ) from Hernandez's powerful left hands. This guys got some power if he can take down a tough guy like Cunningham! In most occasions Hernandez could have won a KO 1 in there first fight and a KO 4 in number 2. Luckily for USS this didn't happen because in each fight he did come back and outbox Hernandez for a lot of the remaining rounds. Anyways back to Hernandez, This guy may seem like a flawless fighter, But he has one big question still over his head, And that's how durable that chin is because earlier in his career he was knocked out in a couple of rounds by hard hitting journeyman Wayne Braithwaite. That was supposed to be more of a keep busy/light test fight when meanwhile it looked like an " exposed " type of moment. Makes you wonder if Cunningham's light punching and durability was just a tailor made style to make him look good. I would enjoy seeing him in with Huck ( 1 ) or Lebedev ( 3 ) soon! Posting these piece by piece. After what happened yesterday with ESB I'd prefer to be safe then sorry. This will take up some space...
