My dad and uncle both played for the Toowoomba Clydesdales and Dad is still close friends with the Platz brothers, especially Lou, who went on to play for state and country. Lew Platz is a huge man, had a feed with him and my old man when he was working for Aristocrat pokies and he told me about his days with the Panthers, Wynum Manly etc. Good bloke.
