...yet you can't explain the Green fight. If there was any money issue with Kessler-Stieglitz, why claim an injury and not call a spade a spade? :rofl

You guys have been trashing Bute for so long, it's hard not to point out the irony of Kessler dropping a SMW WBO belt Stieglitz fight for a bogus LHW Silver WBC semi-title Allan ****in Green fight.

 

A fake injury was maybe the only way for Sauerland to get rid of the contract he signed with Stieglitz, which was by far too generous. Sauerland offers big bucks but ht cheque never gets made.

As for the Green fight, apart from taking an easy fight to get rid of the rust and get accustomed at the new weight, I can't see any plan behind it.

The fact that there wasnt a prolonged mudslinging-process in the wake of this fiasco tells me that there's something that hasnt been made public. I'm inclined to think Sauerland has given stieglitz a nice sum to STFU and put a hefty reward in front of him with a promise of a huge fight against Abraham if he beats Groves.

I Think Kessler was sacrificed.

Nobody can explain the fight with shoemaster Allan Green. Green struggled with Demers and now he's fighting Kessler.......:huh......If Kessler lose to Green, this will erase all the good things Kessler have done in his entire career. This fight is uber ridiculous.

Sauerland moved Kessler up to LHW for to make way for Abraham challenging Stieglitz/Groves for the title later this year.

Abraham can't make MW anymore, so the WBO SMW title is the only chance for him. Kessler was sacrificed and can go for a title at LHW or another title at SMW (Bute/Froch, Ward) later this year.

 

He doesn't choke, he has a bad chin and isn't good enough to make up for it. At least he isn't looking at his feet anymore.

 

Yea that would absolutely suck if Kess somehow lost to Green.

None of us see it happening, but I agree that it would erase Kessler's current credibility, and much of his past creditbility all because of one super shitty loss.

 

Yea I knew Kessler was the obvious favorite, but I even expected more troll votes than this in favor of Green.
