Mayweather and Pacquiao would have LOST to the 2000 versions of SSM AND ODLH

It would've been a special fight. Floyd was always the better boxer, but Mosley had incredible speed and power back then. I can't think of too many light/welters of the modern era who could've held him off.

Mosley was always a mental midget as, and Floyd understands how to clinch when in trouble, please believe when Mayweather recovered like in there fight, and unleashed those bombs on him he would of quit, just like he has done his whole career

May vs. Prime Mosley 9-3 dec

Yea as his career went on his face shows his troubles...Mayweather is always confident and cold...think about it though when you are young undefeated and fearless you will take more chances....when Mayweather adjusted and started walking him down when he was older he stopped throwing back plus his stamina and nerves made him get tired...a younger version would have kept trying

I think Floyd would beat a 2000 version of Oscar. Mosley Mayweather woulda been a tough fight to pick. A lot of fans look at what Mosley "didn't do," but we saw what Floyd "can do" and that is adapt. I think they are pick em fights.

De La Hoya and Mosley (2000 versions) knock Manny out late.

Like he kept trying against Winky and Forrest

Mosley only survived the May Match because he got on his bicycle around round 9, if he would have theoretically kept coming forward, that would have been counter city

I don't think so, the fight had loads of excitement and both are big punching WWs but the skill level for Mosley-DLH was lacking. Skill wise a few levels below Mayweather. Both are bigger and stronger than Mayweather/Pacquaio though, so there is that. I'd pick FMJ over both, against Pacquaio I'm really not sure

I`d fancy both over pac, no doubt... I wouldn`t bet either way on both vs fmj tho, too hard to call.

Ps. Morales & Barrera of 2000 were better p4p fighters than SSM & DLH of 2000 IMO... those 2 guys were never the same after that fight but the ones that stepped into that ring that night were the apex of boxing, phenomenal fighters.

These four are ATG but even though in the ATG both Mayweather and Pacquiao are above ODLH and Mosley they would Pacquiao would lose to both at welterweight and Mayweather win maybe one or possibly both but they'd be 50/50 fights, Mayweather and Pacquiao just don't have physical advantages against either of these at welterweight

I think that's romantic nonsense Bill. On what basis was Oscar never the same? He'd had good performances (MA Gonzalez) and dodgy performances (Quartey) before Shane, he had good performances (Vargas) and dodgy performances (Sturm) after Shane, on what basis was there some indelible change to Oscar on account of a close points loss where he wasn't stopped, dropped, hurt or overly damaged?

Actually, Oscar performed extremely well in the Vargas and second Mosley fights, considering he was fighting against roided-up beasts on both counts and to my mind, beat them convincingly. ODLH showed an iron chin and resolve as well as skill and physical potency well after the 1st Mosley fight, unquestionably so.

I'd make the exact same argument for Morales and Barrera btw, that's romantic nonsense as well.

Floyd beats any version of Shane Mosley. Take the best version of Mayweather and put him against that 2000 Mosley. Floyd would have boxed the **** out of him. Oscar probably could beat him but it wouldn't have been easy.

Mosley knocks Manny out and Manny beats the **** out of Oscar.

Floyd beats any version of Shane. I could see a loss to Oscar, though. Manny gets beat by both.

I think both beat Pac. PBF IMO beats both of them with Oscar giving him a tougher fight of the two. PBF always beats any version of Mosley.

    Pacquiao loses to both.

There is a reason why Team Pac fought Mosley after he was coming off a loss and a draw.

Floyd has a good chance of losing to Oscar
