Wlad did refuse the rematch because at that point of his career he knew he would lose. Prime Wlad with Steward as his trainer beats the **** out of Sanders.
It makes no sense, if you TKO6'd a guy and then had a chance to make a great payday in a rematch, why wouldn't you take it. Fact: Because Lewis luckily won, and realized he was losing and would lose a rematch.
