ESPN2 FNF: Henry Lundy vs. Dannie Williams RBR

JMM's accurate counter punching would tear up the sometimes wild Lundy. It would be the quickest stoppage juan has scored in a long time.

Anyway Lundy doesnt deserve to be mentioned int he same sentence as Marquez, at Marquez age hes only going to be figthing far more accomplised fighters than Hank, save for his next fight, which he deserves a break for.

 

Lundy impressed me tonight, I didn't expect him to be that disciplined.

 

I give him a chance against JMM, because at any time JMM can get old over night. and being able to move and bang to get people off of you might be be his weakness.

As for JMM being the best at 140, I don't think he is, especially after watching the Katsidis fight.

 

You mean the one where he dominated almost every round. Even the one that he got dropped in?

He shouldn't be going life and death with someone the level of Katsidis, shouldn't have even been knockdown by him.

Like I said he is the only one I give Lundy a chance with, but that is solely because of his age, and perhaps being overlooked.

Good fight, I thought Lundy won 7-8 rounds and if he would have pushed it may have scored a ko. This was one of the better ESPN match ups on paper in a while and it delivered. Both guys desreve credit for facing each other instead of knocking off lesser guys while hoping a bigger fight comes along.

Lundy has been on a nice run since his loss to Molina(wheres he been anyways). A rematch between these two would be good and a good fight for ESPN but both guys are probably looking more for Showtime, HBO, NBC, etc if they can get a fight there.

It would work out great if Lundy or Molina could replace Linares and face DeMarco on Showtime. Both would make for good fights and would be a lot better than Showtime having no fights that night.

 

Lindsey Casinelli is no longer going to be on the ESPN deportes broadcast. Damnit
