Amir Khan accuses Kell Brook of taking "cocaine"

Thing is, if Brook has had even a sniff over the past couple of years and it goes to court there will have to be a medical and I'm not sure that Hearn would want that.

Coke is not a PED. Yes it is a stimulant but you can’t take coke on Tuesday and still feel the effects on fight night Saturday night. If a fighter is a long term user it hurts them more than it helps. Coke screws up your heart rate and your sinuses. It also would give a fighter terrible nose bleeds and his stamina would be seriously affected. I know these things because I know someone who has worked as a counselor in a rehab for 5 years. The high wears off very fast.

The Yorkshire Star reports that unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (21-0, 14KOs) has been convicted of common assault after punching out a nightclub manager for not allowing him to enter the "ladies' toilets."

The 24-year-old boxer punched*manager Ryan Casey in the ribs and then went upstairs with a hard shot to the jaw. The Magistrates found Brook guilty of common assault by beating. The sentencing was adjourned for reports. Brook had been out with friends at the Che nightclub in Barnsley celebrating his birthday.
