Round 1

Body shots traded both ways. Close in punches thrown and landed, but Weber's are heavier.

10-9 Weber

 

Round 2

Di Giacomo tucks his chin and drops his arms straight down, trying to bowl in body shots. Weber circles in a close-knit orbit and hits the dago with faster harder uppercuts to the body. Short knocks upon the top of the bowed head by Weber as well.

20-18 Weber

 

Round 3

Di Giacomo is walking through Weber's uppercuts, and throwing hard overhand from both sides. Weber is caught a few times, forced abandon his body attack and wing his own wide punches over the top. Di Giacomo lands some bombs wading in.

Round 4

They push together, grinding arms. Di Giacomo is missing jabs as Weber steps out and looks for the 1-2. Big hooks from outside by Di Giacomo. Weber covers up and is rocked from side to side. The ref warns them both for some incidental head on head contact. Weber leans right in and throws uppercuts, still leading with his head a bit. Hooks to the body by Weber from outside, very soft. Di Giacomo slugs to the body, landing now with more authority. Hard straight shots up top by Di Giacomo, but Weber puts up a praying mantis guard and catches them all. Weber steps back and jabs weakly. Di Giacomo comes swinging in wildly and backs Weber up, landing a good hook under the elbows.
