There is a Chinese New Year's Dragon being walked to the ring.

Now some scantily clad girls carrying lit torches and candles.

Cirque du Soleil style dancers in the ring, performing in leotards with neon colors and tiger stripes under blacklights. :blood

WTF is this?

 

There's now a naked dude with a green mohawk hanging from the ceiling on a harness.

And a woman riding the dragon (which is people, in a segmented suit) as though on horseback.

 

Back to the studio, and the straight-laced Boxeo Fox Sports guys seem a bit perturbed.

 

It kinda was. Unusual for a boxing card.

Periban is whipping uppercuts to the body. Diaz is backing up and getting slammed. 1-2 to the face by Periban. Diaz starts to find his timing and land counters. BIG RIGHT HAND KNOCKDOWN BY DIAZ. Periban gets up and starts swinging away to the body again with those powerful uppers. Diaz answers back with his own straight and hooking body shots. Slugfest. Big bombs traded up close. Both are getting staggered, but keep throwing hard. Periban lands a huge right hand.
