    There really is no reason for native born Americans to be poor in America. If you cannot make a viable legal living in the US with the amount of handouts, sports programs, schools and colleges, you will be poor anywhere.

    If you have something to give, there will always be people with their hands out. What DogTheBountyMan is asking for sounds more like what the government should be doing personally, also why does Pacquiao have to be brought into EVERY conversation about Mayweather......sheesh!

    Anyway as my mom says "Boy, you were born alone and you'll die alone" so Money May should be alright. If Michigan don't want to support him cool that's their choice. Mayweather shouldn't lose any sleep neither should his fans.

    He has a lot of support in Detroit! We love him! There are a lot of "bad" places in Michigan, but they don't get as much media coverage as Detroit. Flint, Ypsilanti, Highland Park, Hamtramck, Pontiac, and other cities are not the best to live in. In any large city you will find bad parts, and Detroit, and Grand Rapids are no exception. I can take you to some parts in Detroit(not Metro Detroit) that are so nice, you wouldn't believe you were still in the city. :)
