Taylor working into that position? How is Pavlik's position any better than Jermain's?

Honestly I believe Martinez would win the rematch more comfortably, when they fought the first time Martinez was a lightmiddleweight who was down on his luck, now since the williams fight hes been knocking out everyone, if Pavlik stays in front of him like he did last time Martinez is going to land some big bombs on him

It won't take Kelly 4 rounds to figure him out this time and 'should' be a more fit version of Pavlik. Also, he learned his lesson about letting some first time 'would be' cut man/doctor stick an IV in his arm and overfill him so much that they can't get the bleeding stopped.

Kelly hasn't suffered 3 KO's, at least 2 pretty brutal and suffered "brain bleed". I think Kelly has a legit shot at a belt at 160. If he gets it, Taylor will find another belt, IF, he can manage it.

I know what you are talking about, but you have to take into consideration Pavliks problems leading up to the fight also. Pavlik was in rehab during training camp. Pavlik was an alcoholic basicly if he is not drinking anymore do you not think that is going to change Pavlik's performace drastically?

I have played sports and was a heavy drinker and I am telling you once you start drinking heavily it has a very negative effect on your performance.

I'd like to see it, they've both slipped significantly, proly equally so and the first 2 fights were very close. Makes sense, loser retires, winner gets a shot at one of the champs....plus they're the biggest names either guy can get until they prove they've still got something to offer, fast track to a title shot with name recognition....why not?

Well the last Pavlik fight i saw he looked **** poor, still havent seen his fight tonight so i might be wrong, I mean Cotto style changed immensely when he started with that Cuban guy so maybe Garcia has added some tricks into Pavliks game although its doubtfull when you look at the rest of his stable, Margarito and Rios, both come forward fighters who dont really move there heads

Unless Martinez starts to show age it will be the same story again, Pavlik gets cut and TKO'd later on

Pavlik's "slipping" was his own doing and probably reversible. Taylor took some beatings. I don't see him coming back from that.

Yeah he was still drinking smoking cigaretts acording to Jack Loew and he may have even been doing other drugs. If Pavlik really wants to become a great fighter he has to cut those things out.

Come on people! A partying, not taking training camp seriously kelly pavlik won 4 rounds against Sergio martinez. Who is now p4p #3 or 4???? Really??? Sergio is a ****ing athlete, and a good fighter! BUT! A 100% Focused Kelly Pavlik Beats him worst the Margarito did!

    As far as Taylor goes.

Depending on the Politics of boxing, Taylor could be a champ again! Dont forget. He was beating Froch's ass before he wore out! Taylor is a great fighter, he just had to much respect for Kellys power! You have to lay it all on the line! And he didnt!

Lmfao @ very biased Pavlik fans. In pavlik 2 losses his biased fans gave all the excuses as to why Pavlik lost. First vs Hopkins "Pavlik had a 110 fever. He was too small in which Hopkins fought a middleweight" And then vs martinez "Pavlik was drinking alot leading up to that fight. He weigh in at 190 pounds before start training." <<<<Its all the bs excuse coming out of pavlik fans. Both Miranda and the first Taylor fight, they both kill to make weight when they fought Pavlik but when Pavlik beat them, these fans in which one of them is freaking Booradley act like Pavlik beat those 2 fighters when they both were 100 percent lol. Its double standard with pavlik fans i swear. And pavlik should stay away at middleweight in which his new weight should be at super middleweight.

    No, no point.

Plus it seems that Kelly will now be a super middleweight while Jermaine is back down to middleweight.

You a ****in idiot!! Spending 2 weeks in rehab during training camp is the resaon why Pavlik lost to Sergio period!!! Most of the boxing world didnt even know who Sergio was until he beat "The great white hope". Gets your ****ing facts straight before you run your mouth!!

BTW. There was no excuse for Hopkins Loss.! Pavlik got flat out whipped!

2 losses. 1 to a Hall of famer aint that bad!
