I hate April Fools but I don't mind Lewis trolling the Klitschko fans.

    From Lewis's site:

"Lennox returns to ring for Sept. 29th mega fight with Klitschko
    April 1, 2012

After a 9 year absence from the ring, former heavyweight king Lennox Lewis will return to the ring in what could be one of the most anticipated rematches in boxing history. Lennox will square off for the second time with current heavyweight champ, Vitali Klitschko in Hamburg, Germany on September 29th for Klitschko’s WBC heavyweight title.

Secret negotiations for this bout have taken almost two years to complete and in a deal that could be work $165M to Lewis alone, he will square off against the older Klitschko. If Lewis wins that bout, it will trigger an automatic bid for the younger Klitschko’s belts in an attempt to unify the division for a second time.

Wladimr Klitchko currently holds the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles. “I’ve watched the Klitschko’s dominate the division since I’ve retired and each time I see them fight, I can see where all of their opponents go wrong. I’ve been itching to do this and we’ve finally come to an agreement that everyone can live with.”, says Lewis.

In an unprecedented two fight deal, Lewis will be guaranteed $125M as part of the overall deal and could make as much as $165M if both fights take place. With worldwide pay per view rights and gate revenues, these fights could be the largest in the boxing history. The fight will be co-promoted by K2 Promotions and Lion promotion in concert with Gary Shaw and two other entities."

In fairness this is a clever ploy by Lewis. He has been making noises for a while about fighting a Klitschko.

It's a good piece of PR really..... They've put it out there to see what the reaction is. Garaunteed if the money is right he'll fight
