One of the rare instances of sparring footage from Mayweather jr.

Omar Hnery is the same guy Margarito used as chief sparring partner for Cotto.

I think this was streamed live over t'internet, so maybe that's why the quality is ****, maybe it was recorded from the stream. :conf

Well Henry ain't serious a bit thick if I'm honest.

Seems to be turning into a professional sparring partner.

Wasn't nearly as one way traffic as the reports were suggesting, we don't know what happened in other sessions of course. Not sure what happened at the end, some guy in a Mayweather Boxing Club T-shirt seemed to just grab Henry more than anything.

Henry got broken down and gassed, but was mostly very competetive in this session. They also kept cutting out sections which is suspect.

Cotto really needs to bring a high tempo to this fight if he stands any chance. Mayweather sparring 5-7 minute rounds is going to do anything if Cotto can really bring the intensity.

Not sure mate, just seemed slightly weird how it'd randomly cut to another part. Maybe the uploader edited it.

Why the hell doesnt Henry start fighting, hes sparring with the best in the world but doesnt fight often enough?:huh

Hes too talented to be a career sparring partner.

Edit, I see hes had two fights since his year and a half layoff. Still not active enough for a prospect though.

I don't think being high-tempo will help Cotto, it will just leave him open to Floyd's counters. He needs to pick his spots when Floyd tries to coast and never let him take the initiative.

But I'm not sure how he'll do it, quite honestly. He lacks the physical gifts to compete with Floyd.
