at least pac tried to make the weight by sweating it out and payed for it by wearing a heavier gloves when he could not lose it in time. did floyd tried to make the weight?

Styles make fights, and JMM had unfinished business with Pac. You're also stating Pac lost to JMM like its some kind of fact. I scored it close for JMM but I can see how others didn't. By the same token, Pac fans could argue that Pac beat his and Floyds other common opponents more convincingly when he humiliated Hatton at his own weight and had Mosley running scared.

Besides, its an insult to boxing to rate a part-timer who fights once a year against cherry-picked opponents as P4P No 1. Every year another 'tune-up' and every year he retires again. . .

yeah you right, they should declare that fight a No contest since Floyd didn't make the catchweight

Pacquiao's loss over Juan > Floyd's win :nutcase

So 2 pounds do matter? So I guess we can't count Pacquiao's win over Cotto.

my point is that pac-jmm both made weight and are on equal footing. floyd disregarded the weight and has a big advantage over him. the least floyd could do is make the weight.

did both cotto and pac made the agreed upon weight?

did both jmm and floyd made the agreed upon weight?

only a ***** would twist this and turn things this way. 2 pounds is what floyd needs to make the weight.

Yeah styles make fights, but wtf? Floyd dominated Juan as much as you can do w/o stopping him. Pacquiao LOST to him. There's no way in hell the p4p king should be coming off a lose :rofl and the reason Floyd wasn't number 1 in the past was because in activity. He seems pretty active to me right now

    exactly

welcome to pacfag world where getting schooled by a 40 year old lightweight far out of his usual weight division is better than beating a young prime fighter

even your beloved boxing writers that you used to cite to back your AZZes don't agree. Better get started on writing those death threats to e-mail out towards writers like you did 2 years ago after Floyd whooped Mosley

Did both Pacquiao and Torrecampo make the agreed upon weight?

By the way, Floyd did lose 1/2 a pound by running earlier on the day of the weigh in.

In the Cotto Fight the catchweight only affected Cotto, since he was the only one who had to change any weight at all. Pacquiao would have come in at the same weight he did even if the fight was at 147.
