We all know Arum is a lying ass, but Gamboa's behavior is as erratic as can be.I don't have answers, I can't understand ,he's not a *****,this kid is coming from the streets of Guantanamo ,but whoever he's listening to its getting him in the wrong bus.
I've heard many rumors,but can't figure yet what Gamboa really wants.We can't keep blaming Floyd or Arum or Oner.I put all the blame on yuriorkis until he proves otherwise

God Damnit Gamboa's one of the most exciting fighters on the planet but he's making ****ing stupid decision's, and sorry to say he looks like a coward right know he callled Rios out didnt show up to his own press conference and has totally bitched out of the fight now. I don't like to say that but it is what it is.

You know what, **** Bob Arum, He may be able to delay Gamboas return but cream always rises to the top. Just ask Ali, The US government couldnt stop him and Arum aint noway near that powerful.Its obvious Gamboa feels strongly about what he needs to do and a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. If you respect him as a fighter then respect his right to make a choice.He will be alright because somebody is gonna make sure that his talent is not wasted.:bbb

 

I dont think he feels strongly about what to do, he keeps moving in different directions and in his 30's already he doesnt have time to be playing at catch me if you can.I respect his decisions and points of views if i only knew what they are.Iam ready to listen to him and support him if its the case but i cant find a damn excuse for what he is doing.If De Cubas is involved in this we should know soon enough,i dont think Arum will come up with this story if Luis is in the middle.
Gamboa is not Ali, who was younger and very well known by the american public,Ali could gather a press conference and star clowning around.People either loved him or hated him.But people knew him.Gamboa,nobody knows who the hell he is.

 

I don't remember many people hating on him before he pulled out of the Rios fight. Lots saying his pro experience was thin, but that was about the most I remember in terms of negativity.

 

in this forum i believe few hard core mexicans and chin checkers were haters of him, but most people( including many mexicans)loved his style and explosiveness.
and i dont hate him,kind of feel sorry for him,and for boxing in general.
