The yanks are really hoping for this guy, he is white so that's pretty good in the media :nut

He should move down to 160. He have no business at 168, has not proved anything at that weight class in i order to get a shot with AA or winner of Froch/Bute. Maybe if Bute loses to Froch, then i would like to see Kelly Pavlik face Bute or Groves / Degale, but that's it. I don't think that Sergio owns him a rematch after beating him fair & square, would love to see him vs Sturm/Geale/Macklin/Murray/Golovkin/Chavez jr./Pirog/Quillin/Lee/Barker/Proksa

ill be rooting for him thats all i know.

    kelly beat the following

    chavez jr
    lee
    froch
    green
    johnson
    martinez rematch ?
    bute

now is kelly fighting at 160 or 168. i think kelly gets a world title, he needs to beat martinez.

I've never disliked Pavlik, but I always felt he was a tad overrated.
White America badly needed a boxing figurehead. It's not the first time they've made too much of a fighter's abilities

They were far too keen to have REPRESENT-AYSHUN
So they made sure Kelly was known all across the NAY-SHUN
But they were far too hasty with their APPREE-CIAY-SHUN
And Kelly ended up always in the Police STAY-SHUN
And now the only belt he'll win is the North American Boxing ASSOCEE-AYSHUN.

Until the cuts, Pavlik was doing well against Martinez. The guy has talent, and at 160, size that is difficult for other MWs to deal with. But he can't hang at 168. At that weight, he loses his advantages. Like Abraham, if he can't make 160, his days as a legit champion are over.

Vitali whooped his ass and retired him.

Wlad would dominate Lewis like Vitali did and knock him out like McCall and Rahman did.

Yes he can, he keeps it real thats the most important part. Ali and Tyson were two of the biggest stars in boxing all time. And you see boxers acting like them to try to be a big star. It don't work that way. Tyson and Ali were not pretending that was their real personality.
