No fights vs a prime A level EVER!!!
Only fighters who are at the end of the career w/ a name.
    Or
Fighters out of the ring for 15 months or with no big wins at the weight he fights them.

Has Pac ever made 40 million dollars in a fight?
I don't know if he has.

Boxing fans will think anything is fair as long as they get to see the fight. I'm part of that group. 50/50 for this fight is fair...except, without Arum.

However, if Floyd does run the entire show, something is going to have to be worked out.

Arum handles a lot of that for Pac and he takes a chunk. And that's not something FLoyd is going to allow. What for...who is Arum? You don't need him.

Floyd can promote the fight himself. Really, Pac and Floyd can do it. But Floyd isn't going to allow that because he knows he can run the show himself.

What Floyd has to understand and admit is that Pac's name on the ticket is a big plus to the promotion. Bigger than any other opponent. So when those numbers draw big, you know why.

But going back, Pac is still turning down 40 million dollars for a fight. If he or you or anyone else thinks its right or wrong...it's still 40 million dollars. He could still take it even if he thinks its a low-ball offer just to prove he is better. Beating someone if for legacy. That is your pay as well.
So in the end, he is still making a business decision first, legacy second. Unless you want to argue that he is feeling disrespected with a low offer of 40 million when he could possibly make more. But it's still turning down 40 million dollars to show up Floyd.

In the end, all the numbers are going to have to be put on the table. And they can go from there. You can always make it up in the rematch.
Although i think it should go by percentage. Nobody knows how much this will do in the end. And that's what Pac is looking at. And he should.

So I'm not saying Pac is wrong. But I am saying he was offered a lot of money to take a fight and he didn't accept. So it's not like he Floyd straight up ducked him. 40 million is still an offer. An offer that is really high.

    Which one is it?

Is he close to outselling Mayweather or is he selling more?

Because I know for a fact you have never even seen the real figures because Uncle Bob wont release them - I wonder why? :huh

People who have seen them have said his best figure vs Cotto was B.S :good

HBO vice president says Mayweather is their biggest PPV star! Straight from the horses mouth :hi:

Only a ******* can somehow put a negative spin on being #1 :rofl

    Mayweather #1
    Pacquiao #2

and Im NOT just talking about PPV numbers either tweety pie!

    from scanned NSAC documents

    Pacquiao:

    Morales - 2M
    Morales II - 2M
    Barrera - 2M
    Marquez II - 3M
    Diaz - 3M
    DLH - 6.6M
    Hatton - 7.4M
    Cotto - 7.4M
    Mosley - 6M
    Marquez III - 6M

    Total: 46,400,000

    Mayweather:

    Judah - 5M
    Baldomir - 8M
    DLH - 10M
    Hatton - 11M
    Marquez - 10M
    Mosley - 22.5M
    Ortiz - 25M

    Total: 91,500,000

:think 50/50? i dont think so. Pac is not worth it. 40 mill will be the highest payday hes ever gotten. floyd is the true cash cow. pac is clearly not his equal. hes only made half of what floyd has made in this sport. Floyds 40 mill offer is generous as **** considering thats just about as much as pac has made in his whole career.

this is ******ed. this would be the biggest fight in boxing and would probably smash PPV numbers. so why would pac accept an offer that doesn't involve him in sharing even a single cent of PPV?

yes he could take that offer but getting none of the PPV share is not only a low-ball offer but is quite insulting to someone who have made more PPV in his last couple of fights.

at the end of the day, you can see which fighter wants the fight most. someone who always moves the goalpost or someone who sticks to it? floyd has no problem with 50/50 before. why suddenly move it?

I wouldnt place all the blame on floyd to be honest, if pacman really wanted the fight money would be no problem. Which to be honest, I think is more bob arum whispering in mannys ear than anything else, i think manny himself would have taken it.

*****s have been saying that pac should stand-up to arum (getting his regular promotional cut) since he is robbing him blind. but when pac himself thinks that floyd offering him a fix amount without a single cent of PPV is a crap offer, then pac should give in?

pac offered a fair 50/50. this is an indication that he really wants the fight and offered what most of us thinks is fair from the very start.

Agree; that's my point. Its still 40 million dollars for the opportunity to show you can beat Floyd. Nothing beats a "W" like that. Money goes away but that "W" will not. You not only just made 40 million, but you have bragging rights. And if Floyd wants a rematch, you have negotiation rights as well.

Of course, in the end, if the numbers generated are quite high near 3 million PPV buys...40 million will be lower than what Floyd would be getting. But is it about legacy or money???
At least Floyd admits its all about the money.
Pac should just admit it too.

Pac never offered anyone a deal EVER. Because he can't. simple. He's not Oscar or Floyd.

Floyd can make offers (see Ortiz, JMM, Cotto) because he dont have to get permission from his promoter, Manny cannot!

Manny should have took the deal he has never earned that in his career ever Floyd has!

Bob Arum got Manny thinking he is something he is not!

where did pac denied it's also about money? did you see why he demanded more against hatton?

but don't make it out to be like pac did not concede more than floyd. he is offering the more fair option. do you disagree that 50/50 is the more fairer option than floyd's offer of a fix amount without any PPV share?

floyd thinks different than you. if floyd thinks pac has no power, then he should not have wasted time calling him directly.

But if you remember earlier in negs pacman agreed to the money said it was "no problem", then soon after changed his mind when it was talked about again. I dont think that its manny for a second, its bob arum, also pacman cant just up and leave top rank, he wont get anywhere near 40mil if he left, also you have to realise who most of his possible oposition is with top rank, you think bob arum is guna give manny paydays if he leaves?
On another thought at this point I think Floyd knows that money wise Pac needs floyd abit more than Floyd needs Pac.

Lets not blame Floyd for ducking Pacquiao... He wants to keep making mills over mills fighting Shot fighters or unproven fighters! A loss to Pacquiao would hurt his PPV status.. In a way, I don't blame him for running.

Oh and here's a pic of the love birds.. I heard 50 and Floyd like to get busy with Hundred dollar bills spread out all over the bed. They play slow jams and then Fiddy tears that ass up!
