If we are talking about fair, then I'm for counting the numbers and then starting off the negotiations. If one fighter has greater numbers, then he should get the higher pay.

However, as a fan, fair is 50/50; lets get this thing done.

In the end, its still 40 million. Whether anyone thinks it is a low-ball amount because in the end, it could have been quite higher.

My point however is all done to Pac possibly not ever making 40 million ever in his career. And now he is offered not only 40, but the opportunity to shut Mayweather up and have both bragging rights as to who is better All Time as well as the heavy hand in rematch negotiation.


I don't blame Pac for not taking the offer. He feels he is worth more to the fight and he is probably right if the numbers estimated are fight.

However, I'm not going to blame Floyd 100% for this fight falling through when there was still 40 million dollars on the table and that was turned own. 40 million dollars and the opportunity to show everyone that you are better. And if you win, low-ball Floyd in the rematch.

Who makes more money has **** to do with it braniac. Go back to school and learn something. It's about PPV revenue. Pac's last PPV outsold Floyd's by a good margin and against a common opponent. His 3 PPV's grossed more revenue then Floyd's last 3. Who keeps more of there money, or who has to pay more out to promoters has dick to do with it. It's about who brings the most money to the table, and if you go by the statistics they are basically even. At best Floyd has an argument for 55/45, that's it.

And the amount of money Floyd / Pacquiao is making is hearsay at this point. Nobody knows how much they're really pulling in per fight. Floyd just talks a lot bull**** about his money but where is the actual proof behind it?

 

On top of that Floyd offered to wire him 20 million within 72 hrs. Pac is dumb and can't negotiate his on fights anyways. If he knew how to negotiate then he would have asked Floyd to meat with Koncz to discuss the 40 million offer and worked on getting a % of the PPV. All of this **** is pointless though bc Arum runs the show for Manny's part.

 

Pacquiao does not average as many buys as Mayweather since Oscar. I seen one poster on here, who posted those numbers and Floyd had him beat by 240 thousand buys.

Right now it's Oscar at 52 million. Floyd did 45 million with a fighter who was never on a PPV main event.

With Cotto at the #3 PPV draw, he'll get around $55-60 million. Manny, in the mean time, is getting 7.5 with Bradley and another 7.5 off of PPV (if that).

So Floyd still breakin records in the revenue and self paid dept. while Pac is getting the same little 7.5 he always get.
