Looks like an interesting fight in August. Nonetheless, I see Geale winning. Seems like his skill set is higher than Pirog and Pirog hasn't done much since the Jacobs KO.

I have no clue who will win this one but I'm ****ing excited. Pirog had 2 fights since his KO win over Jacobs while Geale had 3 fights meanwhile. And the level of opposition is somehow comparable. I think Pirog is better in front of a real challenge and he will get one once he's in the ring with Geale. I say it today: it will be a hell of a fight!! I'll root for Pirog!!

I would normally go with Pirog but maybe we are all guilty of underestimate Geale. Ok maybe he has very little power unlike Pirog but he could maybe hit and run and spoil. He is good on his feet.

Jacobs was flawed technically and was bound to fall to a Pirog bomb. Geale is a much better boxer and will take it in a UD. Good match up which I hope winds up with the winner vs Sergio.

Geale will surprise many of you, he wont fall for the traps and will box wonderfully against that 1-2 Euro style that Pirog has. Geale is part Aboriginal which makes him slick and beige

Pirog doesnt have a European style though, hes probably the complete opposite of your stereotypical Euro fighter. Hesconsistently uses head and body movement along with blocking, and rolls with shots well. And ive always seen him as having a wide array of punches in his arsenal. You've not seen much of him have you?

Oops, you just tipped your hand that you've never seen pirog actually fight. i don't think i've seen the russian throw a traditional 1-2 punch,
and if you had seen him REALLY fight instead of just displaying national-
istic which is understandable, then you could say the same.
    :thumbsup

    sorry :patsch

i got him confused with Serhiy Dzinziruk, the guy that fought Martinez... all these Eastern Euros seem the same to me

Dont think i have seen Pirog fight in that case...

    No bother.

For what its worth, id have Geale beating Dzinziruk aswell:yep

I've got the feeling that Pirog wins a decision in a competitive fight. Geale will give him all he can handle though, toughest fight of Pirog's career by far.

Good fight. I like Pirog, I think he is the guy that has the quality to step up and be a threat to Sergio. Beautiful variety of punches, decent power and a good defense.

Going to be an extremely close fight. Pretty sure it will go to the cards, SD either way.

Pirog is going to mop the floor with Geale. Pirog was unfortunately punished by HBO for knocking out Al Haymon's Golden Child, Danny Jacobs.
