Why Ring Mag has dropped Pacquiao from #1 to #2 on the rankings list?

Of course this wouldn't have anything to do with politics in boxing now would it? Nooo of course it wouldn't. But Lord knows Floyd would never work with Ring mag owner Dela Hoya in the future if the list remains like that.

This is one of the big reasons why Ring magazine has had a fall in sales over the years. Can you smell a conflict of interest here?

Pacquiao has won world titles in 8 different divisions, and he's wiped out legends in the process. Yes, Floyd is undefeated and he's a great fighter, but do we really need to compare his level of opposition to Manny's level of opposition?

Pacquiao is the pound for pound king regardless of what any magazine may say. Until somebody can knock him off the hill, he's number one. Somebody needs to knock Pacquiao off of the hill. Somebody needs to do it with some boxing gloves on. Until that happens, Pacquiao is the king of the hill.

Pac's level of opposition is not that huge of a difference than Floyd's....especialy when you consider ALL things and you can make a case for Floyd's being on par if not slightly better i wouldnt argue that Pac's maybe slightly better either...but i do not believe they have a huge gap between the two.

 

Yeah and what connection does Floyd have to Yahoo and ESPN

okay. what has he done to keep his spot? sleep walk against mosley? fight like he was disappointed Marquez wasn't rolling over? He could have tried a hell of a lot harder. My fave fighter but he's becoming too part time with all the extra **** he's been doing lately. If he doesn't train for his fight like a goddamn fighter, it's only going to get worse.

No. There is no corruption here. It is the right decision. Wierd timing, but better late than never.

 

They been wanting to swap for quite awhile but didn't because Floyd wasn't active enough for their tastes. He's being active now so that reason is out the window

Sorry. When you look like **** against Clear Shot Sugur Shane, then get a gift decision against JMM you definitively deserve the boot. You Pacturds don't get it. Floyd beat P4P #3 Shane. P4P #2 JMM. P4P #4(5-6 depending on your top 10 at the time) Ortiz. Floyd fights guys when they still mean something, not just low hanging fruit with a name and a few dollars . Manny has been dealing with movement now. Not ****ing punching bags that 're weight drained . Manny couldn't even fight Cotto at 154. That's how scared Team Pac is of the newly adopted word "leftover".

The TS's best argument is weight divisions why Manny should still be #1. Well you ****ing noob do some research on some guys that truly cruised weights without catchweights. I won't mention names but I'll say this. There wasn't half the weight divisions there are now. It's clear youre a fad follower. Manny is a hypejob being exposed daily.
