Who is the least exciting: Hopkins or Wladimir

    Who is the least exciting fighter?

    I've seen all of Hopkins' fights and they are very dull for the most part. Hopkins is not afraid to make a fight boring, foul filled, and coast to a UD. He certainly has had exciting performances, don't get me wrong. My favorite was the boxing lesson he gave Tito, simply beautiful. For the most part though, especially as he has aged, I find him to be the most boring of all popular fighters.

    Wladimir has had his share of dull fights as well. Ibragimov was a one sided boxing lesson that was not very fan friendly. What makes Wladimir redeeming to watch is his power and athleticism. Pre-Steward Wladimir was one of the more exciting HW's I have ever seen. A super heavyweight with power that threw bombs until he gassed was a very good watch, but a very dangerous style. Post Steward has slowed things down a good bit. I still enjoy Wlad's fights as he has mastered the art of hit and don't get hit (talk about the opposition all you want, he has the sweet science down).

    So what are the thoughts of ESB? Hopkins Dawson was turning into a stinker no doubt; Wlad Mormeck had some clinching but turned into a KO 4. Both fighters "push the rulebook" thought I find B-Hop bragging about sneaky headbutts and being a dirty fighter in general sickening, much less people calling it a "crafty" style. Wlad on the other hand ends up holding and leaning a la Lewis/Ali.

    hopkins is by far more exciting, he at least throws some combos or different punches. wlad is always jab and ones a year right zzzHHHHHHHH

    Hopkins may have had a few substandard encounters but he has displayed more talent in single rounds than Wlad has displayed in a ****ing career.

    Both are boring but I find myself watching more of Hopkins fights because they have more significance than wlads.

    Hopkins used to be far more exciting. are we comparing prime versions? then it's not even close. with Hopkins you got to watch boxing masterclasses, with Wlad you see jab-and-grab x 100.
