    Wlad

There is a lot to be learned by watching Bernards application of the sweet science, even at the age of 46

Watching Wlad in 10 years would be LOL

Like most aging fighters, BHOP was more exciting in his younger days, but Hopkins antics and ******* attitude makes up for it tho :yep :deal

If you were to ask your average person why do they watch boxing, "for the KO's" would be the likely answer. Wlad KO's just about everybody he faces, but is largely considered p4p among the most boring fighters to ever lace up gloves. I mean seriously, has anybody here ever attempted to watch a Wladimir Klitschko fight with casual fans? It's a downright embarrassing experience. You feel embarrassed for boxing afterwards. The same applies to Hopkins, but atleast Hopkins has the legitimate excuse of being friggin' 50 years old and way over the hill, so he had to adapt to a new style which is more suited for an aged fighter with diminished physical capabilities. But Hopkins was a straight beast in his prime and a completely different fighter stylistically and also had alot more versatility in his game, he either knocked out or wide UD'd just about everybody he faced from the 90's-early 2000's BTW.

Wlad actually delivers what everybody wants to see, KNOCKOUTS, but does so in such excruciatingly boring fashion, picking, pawing & grapling at guys that he has every conceivable advantage over for 10 and 11 rounds until they eventually keel over from exhaustion is not appealing to anybody. Anytime you've made KNOCKOUTS go out of style, you're in a league of your own as far as boring fighters go.

If you can't enjoy a fight like Wlad-Mercer I don't know what to tell you.

Pre-Steward is a very different, very offensive animal in Wladimir.

i dont find hopkins boring. i found his fights with Pascal, Calzaghe, Pavlik, trinidad, and DLH pretty fun to watch. Bhop always delivers when it matters.

Both had their share of boring fights, but right now I am looking forward to both of their fights. (Even though I wonder when Bhop will hang them up. My guess is after the second Dawson fight, which I do not see him winning.)

Wlad. Stops any chance of a fight with his holding once an opponent gets within 3 metres.

Yeah, at least Waldo was able to KO Mormeck. To match that amazing feat P4P, Hopkins would have to KO the likes of Ricardo Mayorga. :yep

Wlad can't do pushups in the ring because he is too weak.
