Tyson Fury for all the hate has done boxing over here world of good with his Channel 5 tear ups. Even though fighting terribly in last two he's entertained the fans that's what casuals want.

Would be great to see more boxing on terrestrial tv.

Bet sky or itv have priced channel 5 out for the europa league. Otherwise im not quite sure what channel 5 are doing here since football is much bigger than boxing and less likely to flop.

I know what you mean. It's like the writer has just found out Channel 5 have lost their Europa League rights (which happened months ago) and assumed it means they'll show more boxing.

*Apparently* they didn't even bother bidding for the Europa League this time round, which is really odd considering the amount of British teams that end up in it. But then you've always got the gamble of them being knocked out early (like this year) and you're stuck with having to show matches between two foreign teams in prime time, which they'd obviously rather not do.

This would be great, if true.

Hennessy doesn't have enough fighters to put on more than 4 or 5 shows a year, which means maybe Maloney or Hattons can step in.

I would guess the idea would be for Mick to raid the Olympians and build around them

But would also mean matching Tyson very carefully as they wont want him losing to anybody other than a Klitschko!
