    I keep hearing about how beating him will help Mayweather's resume. Why? Floyd's already a certified ATG. How does beating someone as unproven as Alvarez help his standing? I don't want to hear any of that young and hungry bull**** either.

    Help as in the future... Canelo has the backing so he will land all the big fights and he will be groomed into something huge after your BF is gone... his career will be well planned like your BF's was well planned...He may actually take out your BF in 2013.... so he may not have the luxury of having him benefit him on his resume...:smoke Also, Mayweather ain't facing him till he has a legit win on his resume... Like Mosely and Cotto would be great to earn respect with May to grant the fight... which is why I believe they gave him mosely, and they will be giving him Cotto next.. and May 2013.

    also 154 is unconquered land. Which is why Cotto is seen as number 1 even though he hasn't done **** either.

    They keep trying to do the same with his brother Rigoberto with the WBA, but he keeps falling short. Thats a ggod thing. His last 3 fight have been for the "interm" or "vacant" wba 154 world championship belt.

    Canelo is a Televisa, WBC and GBP creation. They use his redhead feature, as a circus show , to promote him as the face of Mexico. Finding a Red Head Mexican is like winning the lotto it's a rare freak show for the Televisa Network.
