I'm only making this thread because I seen a debate in the Lennox Lewis/Ali thread that was made by another poster and one of the posters feels that Ali wouldn't be a match for Wladimir Klitschko and I know he believes it(as most Wladimir fans believe it) because of that David Haye fight. :huh Well Ali is a lot better than Haye. His jab was better, his workrate was better, his footwrk was better, his heart was better, his chin was better, and his ring IQ was better. BTW, Ali by UD over Wladimir Klitschko. Well boxing fans, who do you think would win if these 2 fought, both of them at their best? The pre '67 Ali wins an emphatic decision possibly stopping Wlad late.Wlad would be out jabbed and out speeded and basically befuddled. Post '70 Wlad has a chance against a slowed down and older Ali,however I don't believe he would have enough,Ali has more skill, more savvy, more heart, more guts and can dig deeper. Wlad is simply not good enough to beat Ali.
"steal beat a klitchko" nice choice of words. You seem like an intelligent person, whose opinion I should value....NOT!
Ali would clown Vlad before they got in the ring, don't even talk about boxing Vlad would be done TKO6 (not trying to be funny Klitlickers) Vlad has very limited skills sets and would be schooled on levels not seen before. Vlad is used to punching stationary objects not targets that move, and the fact Ali had balls and a will to win and could take a punch, something Vlad has not got. This is not even close, the master pawns the clown. /end thread.
It would not be easy, because skillwise they are not so far apart. But I think Ali could take Wlad into too deep water most of the times (if they fought several times)... and Wlad is not a born fighter (mentally).
