    Nice picks

How do you think both would have faired with Nino Benvenuti.

Nino only lost once at light-middle, he was big for the weight.

There is a LOT of film on him, but I only have one or two fights.

And isn't it Koichimi or summat?! EDIT: Or Koichi even

Benvenuti had a cultured left hand. McCallum had both :D Decision win in, a probably very interesting exchange of jabs before Mike figures his man out and punches out a decision. But as class as Nino was, I've never been sold on him to the extent of some, and not just because he isn't the most aesthetically pleasing or instantly rewarding fighters.

Can't see Benvenuti doing much with Hearns. Not at any pace.

Even at light-middle? Always thought whilst brief, that Benvenuti was a bit of a monster at 54.

Mind you Hearns was incredible, imagine if he had Hagler chin.

a reshuffle could be in order.

Been watching some Foster today (amongst other's, I've watched far too many fights actually, my mind is kinda going numb, god bless these teacher's holidays :good)

Just gonna put this out there:

    HW: Ali
    LHW: Foster
    MW: Jones
    WW: Robinson
    LW: Whittaker
    FW: Armstrong
BW: Canizales (provisional based on how little I've seen of the division, but canizales > chandler imo)
    Flw: Canto.

When you sit down and really think, it a reshuffle every 5 minutes for me.

    Middleweight is mad

    Lightweight even worse

I feel so bad picking against certain fighters

yeah I agree with everything you say.

MW is so evenly matched. I think I'm just going with the biggest athlete who fought there. Jones would have a big size advantage and the difference in power or speed probably aint enough to compensate for it.

Armstrong would be my pick at LW if it weren't Sweet Pea. (even above duran I'd pick him)

I did have Pep at FW but Armstrong looks better to me on film.

Be careful size is not everything, Pac has shown what size truly means...and he isnt a technical wizard like some of the older generation.

Tyson showed by just being taught several key skills what size means, and Holyfield made a career out of beating bigger men.

Ray Leonard fight with T. Hearns showed again that despite Hearns general size and physical power you can still overcome it with skill.

I'm not just basing on size. I just think that's the edge jones has.

lightweight is brutal...i love whitaker but i can see him losing, same with armstrong. ****, same with duran.

all things considered, i lean towards duran to be the favourite against most every fighter who every graced the division but i don't make this pick with a ton of conviction

The way duran beat dejesus in the rubber should make anyone hesitate when picking against him.
