irrelevant cause Japanese fighters are afraid to leave Japan. Never gonna happen. PS: Gamboa looked far better and beat Solis with greater ease than Uchiyama who's getting heavily overated on here these days.

Uchiyama got power ask the Mex Solis! Very underrated boxers with under 20 pro bouts already been put through good opponents. He may ko Broner , who won't be fighting a coked up Perez.

 

As long as Broner isn't harboring a glass mandible, he should take this.

 

Gamboa fought Solis at 126 after Solis had his last few fights at 130. And I take it you didnt watch the Uchiyama-Solis fight, Uchiyama beat Solis from pillar to post.

 

Fight isn't going to happen, Uchiyama isn't going to leave Japan and Broner is an HBO guy now, the fight would happen at like 10AM in Japan to be prime time in the States. So that means that Uchiyama would have to travel to the United States for the fight to happen, perhaps they could get something down in the Bay Area on an Andre Ward card.

 

broner is too good for him. broner by pretty easy victory.

 

Uchiyama as of now but I don't think it will be long before Broner improves enough to bypass him.

Likely this fight doesn't happen, I don't see either guy leaving their country as both have belts and have no reason to chase the other. Broner will probably move up before their is any talk of the division unifying.

Sucks mothballs that this fight may not happen. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Broner and Uchiyama the only top guys in the division? They should fight but while waiting I'll do more studying of Uchiyama's fights and style depending on if they're on youtube.

Fighters in Japan make real money too! It is one of the biggest sports there. I'd say Uchiyama takes this one but the location of the fight would be a big factor no doubt!

 

Don't know if it is all talk, but there were circulating rumours that Uchyiama would be interested in a Broner fight in the US. Aoh puts competion on him in his own house and a (hypothetical) win against Broner would make him the undisputed number 1 fighter in Japan in this weightclass
