Ali had a great chin, but he was not good at not getting hit not as good as Haye in that respect. Thats a myth that Ali was hard to hit he was all show as far as defence was concerned. He was very quick with a very good chin.

Ali would get his head knocked off his shoulders and it would fall to the ground where it would lay deformed and smoking. Wladimir is to good and to big with to much power for Ali to handle.

Ali never fought anyone remotely like Wlad, Wlad by late stoppage or UD.

that is exactly how ali would of had to fight Vlad if he was to survive at a distance and flop on the ground. Now Ali may try to fight but then he would lose because he was not good at being the aggressor. You are just stupid

I would give the footwork edge to Vlad Ali fast moved to much to his left very seldom kept his lead foot outside of his opponents lead. Vlad is very textbook. Ali got away with it because his opponents were not very textbook

This analyse is not poor, but the comparasion with Terrell ruins it. Terrell is a stiff compared with Wlad. Like he had concrete in his boots.

Tough match-up for Ali. I don't see a KO win for Ali at all, so that leaves a decision win, and it's hard for him to win rounds against Wlad's workrate and range control unless he floors Wlad 2-3 times (which is a possibility).

Favoring Wlad here for a UD 12. Ali wins a couple of rounds but not enough.

I think Ali would make Wlad hit air. But could he keep out of the way 100 percent of time? Wlad is a very active fighter.

I dont think it would be easy for Ali to flurry Wlad. Wlad keeps the distance with his footwork and the jab.

I think Ali's fighters heart, ring IQ and creativity would earn him the victory. But the whole idea that Ali would breeze it seems to have little with reality to do.

Hell! Ali even won the poll on here a few weeks ago about who hit harder.
So anybody would know if ESB members are so stupid to think Ali can hit harder than Wladimir, they'll pick ali to win the fight.

There hasn't been a heavyweight in 10 years better than Sonny Liston or prime George Foreman. Amateur boxing has DECLINED since the 60's, pretty radically in fact. Ali hardly EVER got hit in his prime, he's the most elusive heavyweight that ever lived. Ali moved left, right, backwards and forwards and he apparently hit hard enough to knock out ATG heavyweights.

Any other really dumb points you want to use to expose the fact that you have no ****ing idea what you're talking about?

Liston hit harder than Wlad. Shavers hit harder than Wlad. Williams hit harder, or at least just as hard and so did Lyle.

Had I noticed this was Wlad we're talking about and not Vitaly, I would have picked Ali by KO because Wlad would fall apart vs. Ali, he wouldn't be able to take getting hit and not being able to hit back, he'd start chasing, gas out and get knocked the **** out. Vitali would keep his head but wouldn't land anything significant, Ali would move constantly and win comfortably on points.

I dont think Wlad would beat prime Ali. But I think he would do better than walking in a straight line and throw an overextended jab, until Ali gets bored and knocks him out. At least Wlad knows how to use the jab for feinting and break the opponents rythm.

So who thinks Wlad can win a fight with Ali throwing 42 punches per round? The current heavyweights work rate is abysmal . Watch a few of the current heavyweight fights they are atrocious . People on here calling people stupid. Try reading your own posts!
