How did showtime F*** up Bute/Froch

    i thought both were under contract. atleast i knew bute had something like 3fights left.. this is why they are clearly #2 in boxing and EIX has a long way to go but clearly has their eye on them

    Bute has 1 fight left on his deal with Showtime. They obviously want to save it for a fight with Ward.

    Exactly!! Showtime would make more money from the Pay per view from Ward after winning Super Six and being America!! (In theory anyway)

    Not really fair towards Bute because they could not deliver Ward for him but instead he's the one getting punished for their incompetence.
    Wasn't the 3 fights deal suppose to end in Bute fighting the Super Six winner?
    Bute said let's do it, in Oakland... what can you ask more of him?
    In the end it's not Bute who didn't kept his word but Showtime because they promise him the Winner and could not deliver.

    2) Johnson.
    3) SS winner.

    Ward said he will fight Bute after he beats a top 10 SMW, which will be Froch.

    Ward also said somebody not coming from a lost...
    And Ward will probably ask for something else after the Bute and Froch fight.

    **** happens. Ward injured his hand against Froch. He was just recently able to start training again. Regardless, Bute has one more fight on his deal with Showtime and he's going to get it.
