I've done a bit of digging and although not the best quality, here you go:

I'm posting about the full card that this fight is from on the 'what fights did you watch today' thread, and thankfully it has all been uploaded to YouTube. If you want to see any other fights just let me know and I'll post them up, or I can just post the entire card :good

    ---

I've not seen much of Singwancha, but I think Shimizu will eek out a close one. Singwancha at 5/1 to get the stoppage is pretty tempting, though...

    Kenichi Ogawa

    This content is protected

    Age: 24
    Record: 8-0 (6KOs)
    Weight: Super featherweight
    JBC rank: #12
Achievements: All-Japan rookie champion, East Japan rookie champion.

Yesterday I watched Kenichi Ogawa and Ippo Nishiwaki (5-0-1, 4KOs) in a contest that would determine who the All-Japan rookie champion would be at super featherweight. Ogawa was the East rookie champ, Nishiwaki the West. Both brought unbeaten records into the mix, with a draw on Nishiwaki's being the only blemish between them. It was seemingly a match-up that, on paper, would be a competitive one.

    That was not the case.

Other than what was essentially a feeling out round in the first, the bout was anything but competitive. I'll be honest, I didn't see anything in the first that really made me take notice, well that was until Ogawa burst into life at the end to clinch it. From this point on, there was only one person in the fight and that was Ogawa. Fast jabs snuck by Nishiwaki's guard and raiding, powerful combos smashed through. Success was arriving all the time for Ogawa, whilst his fleet-footedness meant it was the opposite for his opponent.

In the end, Ogawa won a shut out unanimous decision over five rounds. All three judges scored the fight 50-45, which was how I had it.

In his previous outing, he battled Kenta Ihara (6-0, 4KOs) in what was another well-matched fight on paper. Ogawa went to work earlier in this one and his noted body punching came to the fore in the 2nd round. A crunching left hook to the body caused Ihara to collapse to the canvas. Although he was brave to get up, a swift combo put Ihara down for a 2nd time and brought in the referee's intervention.

I know there are two more fights of Ogawa out there, but sadly I haven't got copies of them and they're not on YouTube, either. However, I will be trying to get hold of them soon and I'll update this post when I do :good

    Ogawa = one to watch!

Kameda fight went the distance, scores were 117-111 x2 and 115-113, doesn't exactly sound impressive.

    Tepparith unifies WBA 115lb belts

    This content is protected

    By Joe Koizumi

In a WBA super-flyweight unification bout, full champ Tepparith Kokietgym (18-2, 11 KOs), 114.75, a hard-punching Thailander, impressively unified the belts as he completely overwhelmed and overpowered champ in recess Tomonobu Shimizu (19-4-1, 9 KOs), Japan, en route to a fine TKO victory at 2:15 of the ninth rounds on Wednesday in Yokohama, Japan.

Also, WBA bantam champ Koki Kameda (28-1, 17 KOs), 118, barely kept his throne by eking out a debatable unanimous decision (115- 113, 117-110 and 118-110) over WBA#11 overmatched Indonesian Nouldy Manakane (24-11-1, 15 KOs), 116.25, over lousy and monotonous twelve rounds.

    Koizumi hates Koki

    slim ‏ @slim74_lk05
That deduction for a low blow in the 10th could really hurt Kameda.

    slim ‏ @slim74_lk05
If Kameda somehow wins by points without a knockdown or two, it will not be a popular decision at all.

    slim ‏ @slim74_lk05
Kameda finally tags Manakane with something that has pop, poses, and backs off. WTF. Does he not think the scores are close?

    slim ‏ @slim74_lk05
Oh, hell no. 118-110? That's deducting the point for the low blow? Only two rounds for Manakane? LOL

    Definitely another controversial Kameda decision...

Which site is best for betting on boxing fights? I use 365, has decent range of fights internationally and local.
