I gather he expects to take the fullback spot at saints

I don't think people realise how good Brett Morris is potentially at fullback, he wouldn't look out of place in a sky blue jumper

Yeah Morris is a slight step up from Beale at FB from what i have seen

I have a feeling he is going to be on the wing for a while...

Nightingale, Beale and Morris backing up? Best wing and FB combo in the NRL

Morris doesn't want to be full back though he's happier playing left wing don't know why he's a future superstar at fullback

Because I think league players get bonuses for representing State,Country and lets face it Slater is not getting punted for Brett to play fullback. Winger is easier to get rep honours.

Beale is a good player but I havnt seen him play as well as what Morris currently is at FB. He will be a good addition to the Dragons backline.

How **** is Vidot, not only is he as fast as a prop forward he is starting to look like one now

    Morris as NSW FB... Yeah.

We certainly don't have a great FB already in Jarryd Hayne, play Gidley or Minichello at FB instead! They certainly aren't past it or mediocre... Nah put Tom Learoyd-Lars in there!

Tommy learoyd is a good shout (not at fb ya wally lol) and a top bloke, was in the year below me at school. Best of luck to him and hope he makes origin

That said, QLD are going to kick ass again without Lockyer. So much talent just in the numbers 1,6,7 and 9 let alone the awesome backline

    10 years of dominance :yep

    1.Hayne
    6.Carney
    7.Soward
    9.Farrah/Ennis

Not too bad a spine, especially if Carney fires. I'd throw Soward into the 7 ahead of Pearce just because he adds that bit of flamboyance and is a goal kicker.

from what ive heard its written in stone that brett stewart will be there if he can stay injury free.
Theres a huge push for buderus as well which i would be happy with. buderus is a born winner. ennis and farah are both pretenders to his throne

If Buderus gets picked, then he should also be names as captain.

We've lacked his sort of leadership for years now.

Buderus is another "Gallen" type player he will lift to another level when he plays for nsw , he brings added passion which only 1 nsw player has had for the last few yrs ..which is Gallen

I disagree , Id put Pearce at 7, Not cos his a Rooster but because Pearce and Carney were a good team at the Roosters. They know eachothers game, Plus Pearce is a better defender then Jamie and Carney can kick goals.

I don't mind Vidot either. He isn't that bad IMO.
