When did we ever see as much flopping & kneeling as Haye did in the Klitschko fight?

That were some of the most embarrassing moments for me as a fan of the sport.

People were asking me almost every round while watching the Klitschko-Haye fight.

"Why is the british guy running away and flopping to his knees?"

"Can you become a homosexual heavyweight champion?"

    "Kneepads?"

    "Is blowjob allowed in boxing?

I had no real logical answer for them and never felt as "gay" as I did in this moments to see a loudmouthed idiot begging for mercy on his knees in a heavyweight unification fight.

My question is, was there a fight with so much intentional flopping & kneeling in a title fight before? So that you actually get a point deducted like Haye did.

When did we ever see such holding and hugging from any HW champion in history?

The Kbros lean on opponents to tire them out. It's illegal and they never get penalised for it.

It was a good tactic from Haye. Probably one of the only ones that worked as he still had a lot of energy by the end.

I just wish Haye through more punches.

Haye was just trying to get a DQ win. Seems that was his only gameplan. Kinda sad but that's how it looks in hindsight.

Its was very annonying to watch, Haye had a wrestler in his training camp & I thought he was prepared for the jab, grab & lean-on tactics Wlad always uses.

The ref completely bottled it after Steward had a go at him :-(

More importantly when last did a 6'6 245lb guy who generally outweighs his opponents by 20lbs, in Haye's case 30lbs, fight so cowardly and grab hold for dear life at any sign of danger? :think

I agree. ESB-members are to keen on bitching. Wlad did very little holdning in this fight, instead he was forced to box, which made for a better show.

It's ridiculous for Haye and Wlad fans to be arguing about this because you're both right about the other while in denial about the one you like. That was the most despicable display of a supposed HW championship bout I've ever seen. Haye is mediocre and had no plan but throw bombs from 10 feet away while falling in, then dropping to his knees once he got in range. Wlad is so scared of getting hit he wouldn't dare throw a punch into incoming fire, even such wild and harmless fire as Haye was throwing. And he's so inept on the inside he couldn't do anything in the rare instance that Haye stayed on his feet.

    Good point.

Haye was acting like a punk. He was falling down every time he got close to Wladimir, dropping to his knees and looking to the referee.
