Ricky Hatton Antonio Tarver The Klitschkos (though others over rate them) Robert Guererro (I'll have lots more)
I agree with Cotto and JMM . . . Chavez gets a resented because he has been handled very well on route to the title. He may be a very good fighter but he did not prove it coming up and got a belt before it was his time. Not to mention people are claim that he is only riding off of his fathers name. i am not super impressed but i am impressed. He could do very well if he stays in shape and keeps improving his game.
Fair play he did have have an easy route to start off, but that is to expected with no amateur background. He's now picking up the pace at a pretty solid rate and has improved tenfold under Roaches assistance, I remember people calling him overrated before he even had a chance to prove himself.
Michael Spinks. A lot of people just remember the Mike Tyson massacre, not him being one of the greatest LHWs ever and becoming the first LHW champ in like a century to win the HW title.
Yeah ricky gets shafted quite a bit. He was unfortunate to be o the tail end of two of the most memorable KOs in superfights in the last 25 years. Tarver was very good but was lucky to catch RJJ at the right time K2, do get a lot of heat but it is usually due to the constant bombardment by their rabid fan base. Robert, doesn't get much buzz either way really. People where saying he was not ready for PBF which is reality.
