I think FMJ is one of the greatest pure boxers of all time. Top 5 easily. He is also one of the top 5 defensive fighters of all time. The one and only part of his repertoire that is a bit unorthodox, and normally shouldn't be taught in a gym is the shoulder roll. The man does pretty much everything right. Everything, both mentally and physically.

Floyd has Mastered his particular style, everybody pretty much knows what he is going to do, but he is so engaged in his style, its hard to break it.

Honestly, if you think Mayweather is over-rated...who do you actually rate skill wise?

By a few rounds you mean one round then?

Castillo was a top fighter at the time he fought Floyd, so was Corralles. Ricky Hatton was in good form and undefeated when he fought Floyd. When Mosley fought Floyd, he was coming off the best win of his career arguably.

Floyd fights guys coming off the wins of their careers (Ortiz, Cotto, Mosley)

Pacquiao fights guys coming off dodgy split decisions (Cotto), draws (Mosley), not won against a credible opponents in 2 years (Margarito)

Not turning it into a Mayweather v Pacquiao thread just pointing out the difference.

Judah? you serious? 8-4 isn't close buddy.

Castillo isn't all that great, but he can't be that bad as he did something alot of good fighters couldn't.

Mosley was made to look shot, first two rounds he wasn't doing too bad, outclassed and gassing isnt a good combo for anyone looking to win a boxing match.

That is unfortunately the same as pretty much every big boxer at the moment.

He thinks mayweather is over rated, who do you think he rates?

thats how your basing, because hes lost some rounds and looked bad well **** then pacman definitely looks average at best if thats the criteria your using. By the way didnt he fight mosley before pacman if thats the case and he was shot with mayweather then what did that make him against pacman?

I'm a fan...however HIS LEGS ARE MORE OR LESS SHOT....

Compare the Marquez fight to the Ortiz fight...he is still a gifted athlete however comparing how his legs used to be THEY ARE SHOT (comparing him with his past performances, not shot campared to other fighters.)

His legs are most certainly not shot. Ever since the Sugar Fight, He's been using a comeforward style, if he wanted to move around the ring more he could. Just look at him bob and weave, then reposition himself out of the way from sugars punches

dudes 35 years old....as fighter age and go up in weight of course they are not gonna move as often or as swiftly...i wouldnt say his legs are shot because when he needs to be on the move he can be....tactically he wouldnt have benefited using his legs against Ortiz or Mosley...neither guys fights well backing up...whereas Marquez is a counterpuncher....the best way to beat a counterpuncher is beat them to the punch and let them be the aggressor another tactical move
