Word, he's got time to trim down. They do say they're focusing on speed a lot for this one.

  9. This Fedchenko cat will probably put up a real good challenge for Marquez and I'm looking forward to this fight!

From what I've seen, think of a bouncier, slightly quicker version of Kotelnik. He'd rather time one or two good shots at a time and come in behind his high guard, and those dynamics may make it somewhat challenging for Marquez. I still favor JMM to win convincingly, no doubt about that, but it's a good opponent who won't lie down and has solid fundamentals.

Marquez said in an interview recently that he'd be hoping for a stoppage, since he's never been knocked out before. I think it's going to come no matter what; Marquez is simply going to catch him with something he doesn't see coming, and Marquez will go to work, stopping him sooner or later. But it should be a good fight up to then.

if he fights pac again do you reckon he could stop him if he throws even more body shots?

I doubt it. Too many body shots opens him up, and Manny would have to become really shot to get stopped by him after suffering Cotto and Margarito's best. If Marquez tried to stop Manny in a 4th fight, he'd probably aim for a cut or on accumulation, and it would in all likelihood work against him, but if he snaps and goes for the kill refusing to be robbed again, he has more of a shot making him bleed or pouring on the volume than caving in his torso.

Now Fedchenko I could see going down for a body attack. Exploiting that high guard with feints followed by vicious liver and kidney shots is definitely something I see Marquez going for. And if not that, then uppercuts down the middle.
