I think that hooks and uppercuts when Peterson comes in will involve work in the pocket. It's too risky to rely on teaching him to fight on the inside for just one training camp, but it is something they absolutely must correct. It's understandable it has been lacking with all of Khan's rebuilding involved avoiding getting ktfo leading up to the Maidana fight, but now that he's stronger and more mature, he should rectify his weaknesses instead of just focusing on avoiding them, which is something Roach seems to emphasize.

Peterson's ONLY asset fighting Khan is fighting in the 'pocket' and working the body...

Khan gave him an easier job last time around by letting him off when he walked in...

This time it won't be the same story..

Peterson will still dominate the inside/pocket fighting...but that's all he has.

If Khan was more powerfull than peterson in this pocket then peterson wouldn't stand a chance...

So don't go thinking "Ha Khan still isn't improving on inside fighting", well why trying and beat somebody at their own game?

This time fix your mistakes, work harder, see where you went wrong & make adjustments.

I think doing this will give Khan a wider points victory (with deduction is still had him winning by 1 point in the first fight)

This time around its gna be 2 points victory. Peterson is tough. so all this KO talk is still hype to me.

Peterson's advantages this time around? He knows how to start and won't need 3 round to get into rythm.

1 thing Peterson can't do: Start slow or get knocked down
1 thing Khan can't do: Defence ball and backpedal letting peterson off when moving into the 'pocket'

Gonna be a good fight, get your popcorn & pray that Cortez isn't reffing.

ALSO watch these left hand uppercuts from Khan lol Peterson better be wary.

Amir is gonna kill Lamont this time.

It's time for Lamont to become what he was meant to be all along. A mere statistic.

My thinking is that as soon as Peterson comes with his head Khan will quickly throw hooks (not uppercuts) and then move away after the initial contact and then regroup.

Alex has been saying that Amir is stronger now in this camp and his sponsors Maximuscle they seem to be helping him as well.

I wonder if they will incorprate what Ghallager taught him into the gameplan? I sometimes think Khan should think for himself and not be a robot..he has no fluidity...same combo's everytime lol. He needs to have fun like Roy used to have fun and give entertainment.

I hope Peterson wins... i bet he will come in as beast this time round. But tbh it depends on the ref... Roach was saying that they r gonna look for a ref who will break them up?

Hooks are useless. Khan will backpedal with them like his jab & peterson will walk through them like he did lasttime around

Uppercuts and down the middle is where it's at.

Know when Lamont is coming in get your feet on the ground throw the uppercut, possibly follow up with a hook then move around.

Damn this fight is gonna be interesting!

I think Roach just mentioned a ref that would make sure Peterson didn't come in with his head.

Khan does need more fluidity, but IMO it's coming along. He showed a lot of punch variation against Judah. I think he'll get better and better.

Yep Khan seems to learn when he needs to.

McCloskey (southpaw) Khan was sloppy as hell

Then Judah (southpaw) who i'd say is a more powerfull faster better version of McCloskey Khan had improved alot

With all due respect I favour Lamont. Khan has never shown in any HBO fight that he can adjust. Lamont has done that in EVERY fight bar the Timid Timmy one. What people don't like to remember is Lamont landed like 40%+ of his power shot's. Khan had a dismal number.

I hope Khan uses his own brain and uses what Ghallagger taught him cos at end of the day this fight needs to be competitive. Freddie will just tell him to use the Andreas gameplan. Amir has extended his contract with HBO.

I want all of Lamont's family to be there at ringside. His brother, wife and his adorable two kids.

What I said about him improving from McCloskey to Judah. Adjust in the fight...no not very well.. But improve after a fight. yes very much so I believe. Lamont was very smart and adjusted very well in their first fight.

I don't like Lamont when he is keeping his chin tucked in like a h*mo. F*ck that sh*t. Let's fight like Real Men.
