3 or 4 ways eh? This might be worth some money.

I see 1 way being cuts. Vitali's face will get ripped up if you land on it all night.

I see a 2nd way being that one of his old legs breaks in the middle of the bout. He does not look good when he is challenged physically inside.

I see a 3rd way being taking 2 or 3 big shots to get inside and land a big flurry. And to come after him all night long in such a fashion. And I think Welliver has that skill set to do it. He has an amazingly strong chin and Vitali is not a KO artist. He also has extremely fast hands inside and is a very good body puncher. This attack will also make the 1st 2 ways to beat him more likely. You gotta engage this guy with everything and leave nothing on the table. You gotta be willing and able to take some major bombs to get inside where he sucks and take advantage of his longer stature and old legs. Chauncy can do it. :bbb

Apart from this one deluded and fanatic fan(messerschmitt), I think everyone here and the general boxing community consideres this the worst opponent ever to fight for the title. I dont want to take anything from Welliwer, but he should not be talked about in this context.

Vitali has lost the ability to adjust his feet quickly. He compensates for this somewhat with good lateral movement, but the fact is that his legs have slowed and he is vulnerable to guys with the footspeed and Boxing intelligence to step the correct way, and change the dynamic of the exchange on him. Guys get so pre-occupied with the jab that they pretty much fight VK in straight lines. You need to come in at an angle, and when you've got your punches off you need to pivot out on your back foot to stop the Ukranian from setting his feet. Solis had the basis of this plan and Chisora showed flashes, though he is offensively one dimensional.

Concentrate on hitting his sholders. Roy Jones vs John Ruiz. Jones took Ruiz's left hand away from him with two or three perfectly placed shots to the sholder. Take the jab away and create a little more freedom for yourself.

Chisora slowed VK down by concentrating on the body, what he should of done is also throw uppercuts to the sturnum and to the chest, take the wind out of VK for that moment rather than hope your work pays dividends in the final round.

Unless my check is in the mail, you're getting no more :tong

    This is something to remember....

How many top 10 guys have K2 offered fights to and they won't take it? Seems like it has been several.

Welliver went after Monte for his last fight and offered the guy 40 grand. Monte will be getting more than that fro Cameron but if Monet wanted a thing to do with the HW Title he would have taken a WBO Eliminator. Same with Tua's arse when he was ducking Top 10 Chauncy to face Barrett. Those 2 guys have done more to slow Chauncy down than anybody. They are cowards. Chauncy was interim to that WBO Apac title of Tua's and eventuakky Barret's for 2 and a half years. They just wouldn't give the man his shot. And Chauncy is the highest rated guy in that entire region. It's BS!

    I know pal :-(

It's frustrating, I really think what I put would work. I just see very few if any active HW's who could do it.
