Great article. I know Dempsey would be the call for most, but I've wondered who was more iconic given their times.

I think the decade of dominance is a bit of an exaggeration as he didn't do much after 89 whereas peter jackson did.

Still 7 years and a couple of months is very impressive. Would have been much better had he dfeeated Jackson in 89 also.

Without film it's easy to get carried away with the writeups.

I really need to pick up Adam's book on Sullivan, but I find myself more interested in Jeffries. A fight between those two prime for prime would have been brutal
